“Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) has secured the opportunity to send a 2U (10cm x 10cm x 20cm) size payload (NanoLab) onboard Blue Origin’s New Shepard capsule in the Summer of 2017 to conduct a science research experiment in collaboration with Medical University of South Carolina and University of Health Science Center at San Antonio. Our NanoLab will house a device (EDL-4S Data Logger provided by Marathon Products, Inc.) to measure the payload’s temperature, relative humidity, and acceleration in the X, Y, and Z directions that the NanoLab will experience during the different phases of the 11-12 minutes suborbital mission.”-says Dr. Pedro Llanos, PI of the project.
